《The British Grenadiers》 英国掷弹兵进行曲

《掷弹兵行进曲》是英国最著名也是历史最为悠久的步兵行军曲，其历史可以追溯到17世纪，原作者不明。

据说起源于17世纪的歌曲“THE NEW BATH”(新浴池)。拿破仑时代是很流行的军歌，现在是白金汉宫前换岗仪式的必奏曲。

电影中如果有17世纪的英国军队，一般都会出现《英国掷弹兵进行曲》，比如：《爱国者》、《太阳帝国》、《加勒比海盗》......

掷弹兵

掷弹兵是17世纪中叶欧洲陆军的一个兵科，最早是指军队中能投掷手榴弹的步兵。由于当时的手榴弹体积重量类似小型炮弹，因此需要在步兵当中挑选臂力过人的士兵才有办法投掷，这些士兵在战斗中需要在己方战线的前面向敌方投掷手榴弹，因此在欧洲军队中将掷弹兵的称号作为表彰军人英勇战斗表现的荣誉称号，也幛显掷弹兵是步兵当中的精锐及佼佼者 。虽然掷弹兵逐渐退出了历史舞台，但鼓舞步兵的士气并延续军队的传统，“掷弹兵”的称号被延续下来，例如二战时德国的“装甲掷弹兵”。
