赵林城, 男, 1942年11月26日出生, 江苏盐城人, 1966年毕业于中国科学技术大学数学,1982年5月获中国科学技术大学授予的理学博士学位 (导师为陈希孺教授),以后一直在该校工作, 1988年晋升为教授, 1990年被批准为博士生导师, 1994年当选为国际会 (ISI) 的member,2000-2002年为国际著名统计杂志 “Statistica Sinica” 的副主编。 曾任中国概率统计学会理事和常务理事,现任《应用概率统计》杂志编委。长期从事概率论与数理统计教学与理论研究,主要研究领域包括非参数统计,线性模型,回归分析,多元分析, 信号处理。

简介

在“Ann. Statistics”, “Ann. Probability”,“J. Multivariate Analysis (JMA) ”, “IEEE Trans. ASSP” 以及《中国科学》等国内外学术刊物发表论文140余篇, 合作出版的专著有《线性模型参数的估计理论》 (科学出版社)和《线性模型中的M方法》(上海科学技术出版社). 参加过国家自然科学基金八五、九五两个重点项目,多次主持国家自然科学基金和教育部博士点基金研究项目. 和合作者在信号数目检测的随机效应模型中,提出了模型选择的一个新准则(见JMA, 1986, Vol.20,1-25及26-49), 已得到SCI的120多个引用以及美国物理科学技术百科全书的引用,在U-统计量,密度估计,非参数回归等方面的工作,得到了美国统计科学百科全书及若干专著和文章的多次引用. 与陈希孺院士合作,1990年以“关于非参数统计的若干问题”获中国科学院自然科学奖二等奖,1991年该项目又获国家自然科学奖三等奖,1998年以“线性模型大样本理论的研究”获中国科学院自然科学奖一等奖. 1991年被国家教委和国务院学位委员会授予“作出突出贡献的中国博士学位获得者”称号.

曾先后三次应著名统计学家P. R. Krishnaiah教授和C. R. Rao教授的邀请,到美国匹茨堡大学和宾州州立大学进行长达四年半的合作研究,应邀访问过美、加多所著名大学, 并三次访问台湾中央研究院统计研究所,以及巴西利亚大学数学系,香港中文大学统计系等.
