法国电影演员。原名西蒙娜?卡明克。1921年 3月25日生于德国威斯巴登，1985年卒于欧特伊－欧图耶。西涅莱自幼酷爱文艺。1942年初登银幕，在法国导演M.卡尔内的名作 《夜间来客》 中担任配角。1952年主演《金盔》，由于她准确地把握了人物的性格与气质，塑造了一个既轻佻放荡，又心地善良的妓女玛丽的形像，被英国电影协会推选为外国最佳女演员。1957年，西涅莱担任影片《上流社会》（1958）女主角，她以真挚、动人的表演夺得美国第32届奥斯卡最佳女演员奖。她主演的重要影片还有《萨勒姆驱巫记》（1957）、《招供》（1970）、《巴黎战火》（1966）、《火车上的谋杀案》（1965）、《影子部队》（1969）、《亲爱的陌生人》（1980）、《如此人生》（1977）等。
