无障碍设施

无障碍设施是指为了保障残疾人、老年人、儿童及其他行动不便者在居住、出行、工作、休闲娱乐和参加其他社会活动时，能够自主、安全、方便地通行和使用所建设的物质环境。

它主要包括以下设施：坡道、缘石坡道、盲道；无障碍垂直电梯、升降台等升降装置；警示信号、提示音响、指示装置；低位装置、专用停车位、专用观众席、安全扶手；无障碍厕所、厕位；无障碍标志；其他便于残疾人、老年人、儿童及其他行动不便者使用的设施。

协会简介

北京亦能亦行残障研究所是一家2009年10月经工商注册成立的民间组织，机构以残障社会工作及残障法律为关注领域，致力于“推广残疾人权利公约，践行自主生活理念”，以“咨询、培训、倡导、研究”为主要工作方法，目前主要开展“盲人按摩师调研项目”、“残障法律服务项目”、“无障碍休闲项目”。

英文简介

Enable Disability Studies Institute is a non-governmental organization (NGO) registered in Administration for Industry and Commerce. Focusing on the social work and legal support for PWDs, it is dedicated to “promoting Convention on the Rights of PWDs, and practicing the concept of autonomic life”. “Consultation, training, initiative and research” constitute its main working methods.

EDSI is co-founded by Zhang Wei (Ph.D. of Disability Law of Heidelberg University ), Yang Bing (Master of Law, Lawyer) and Wang Hui (Master of Social Work, Journalist) in November, 2009. It has 8 full-time staff at present.

EDSI commits itself to becoming a supportive NGO in Chinese disability field. It pursues a way of “developing research through service and improving service through research” to promote the development of disability field and facilitate the realization of the rights of PWDs.

Currently, the institute is launching “Legal Service Project”, “Barrier-free Leisure Project”, “Company Plan for the Growth of Youth With Disabilities”, and “Project for PWDs Economic Environment Improvement”.
