John Wiley & Sons Inc.(约翰威立父子出版公司)1807年创立于美国, 是全球历史最悠久﹑最知名的学术出版商之一，享有世界第一大独立的学术图书出版商和第三大学术期刊出版商的美誉（详见）。

Wiley InterScience-- 是John Wiley & Sons Inc 的学术出版物的在线平台，提供包括：化学化工﹑生命科学﹑医学﹑高分子及材料学﹑工程学﹑数学及统计学﹑物理及天文学﹑地球及环境科学﹑计算机科学﹑工商管理﹑法律﹑教育学﹑心理学﹑社会学等14学科领域的学术出版物。

该出版公司出版的学术期刊质量很高，尤其在化学化工﹑生命科学﹑高分子及材料学﹑工程学﹑医学等领域。目前出版的近500种期刊中，2005年有一半以上被SCI、SSCI、和EI收录。

Wiley Online Library于2010年8月7日/8日（中国大陆）正式发布。 Wiley Online Library在2010年8月发布之前、之时和之后，用户和研究人员都可以持续接收资讯和支持。Wiley Online Library将完全取代 Wiley InterScience，所有的内容和许可将转移至新的网址，确保为用户和订阅者提供无缝集成访问权限。
