Dust colored cat with lamp-like yellow eyes. Mrs. Norris prowls the corridors of Hogwarts, ever on the lookout for miscreants and mischief-makers. Mrs. Norris was temporarily Petrified during the 1992-1993 school year when the Basilisk attacked her. It is the fond wish of many of the students to give the meddlesome, tattling Mrs. Norris a good solid kick, but so far no one has carried out this wish because of their fear of Filch.

The name Mrs. Norris come from one of JKR's favorite Jane Austen books, Mansfield Park. In that book, Mrs. Norris is the busybody aunt of the main character who interferes and pokes her nose into other people's business.

灰色的猫，有着灯一样的眼睛。诺丽斯夫人在霍格沃茨走廊里巡游，寻找违反校规和调皮捣蛋的人。诺丽斯夫人在1992-1993学年中受蛇怪攻击后被石化了一段时间。很多学生希望能狠狠地踹上这只多管闲事的猫一脚，但至今没有人敢这么做，因为大家害怕费尔奇。

诺丽斯夫人这个名字来自罗琳最喜欢的Jane Austen的一本书，《公园》。在这本书中，诺丽斯夫人是主人公的姨妈，非常好管闲事。
