释义

We can see from the twenty forth paragraph, the author is telling about the bad ways of show off. It is various from very gross to very subtle. There are two typical kinds of show off. The gross showing off likes someone who had been elected into senate successfully, while the author’s husband fired the author an egg is one of very subtle showing off. In the needing part, some are needy and some are nasty. There are also two kinds in it.  I am stopped at the first sentence. The word “point” confused me very much. After a few seconds considering, I think it refers to “nasty, needy, and nice”. And the rest of sentence gives us an oral expression that “viewed as… well…showoff”. I didn’t know whether it means “the showoffs are harshly viewed as a good actor who performance well” or others.

In the last paragraph, the first two words “and yes”, appears many times in the passage. There are so many repeating words and pareses in this passage.  Maybe it is her writing habit. This “yes” undoubtedly answers the famous Lord’s words. And then I want to know why the author uses three “rights” here? she  also uses “of course, must be” in that sentence.  Just to emphasize?
