| 释义 | I read the paragraph 12 to paragraph 16 carefully. In paragraph 12, the author talks about the showoffs which is [who are]insecure showoff [showoffs]. They want to let everyone know that they are good in different ways. There is a big difference between insecure showoffs and narcissistic showoffs. I have interested most in paragraph 13, because it seems to me that there are three sentences which begin with the word of ‘sometimes’. In this paragraph, we can know that showoffs have three states of mind. In the paragraph 15, meaning [it mentions] that [the]author haschated [chatted]with [themother of four all evening. author is filled with admiration, with astonishment ,with awe. Because she never even mentioned her four children .It's nothing serious. In my opinion, first she is a coprolite [?] not a housewife. So is really something [?].They have many topics to talk. on other hand ,she is a great talker. It is the reason for her win [winning] the state senate. |
