| 释义 | Today I read paragraph4-5 of the article 'Attitudes Toward Work'. When I read paragraph4, some new words confused me. Like the word contribute in the last sentence. The word knowledge is after this word, and is contribute' object. So I think it maybe is meaning offer. With the dictionary, I know it is meaning to give something, especially money, in order to provide or achieve something together with other people. These two paragraphs is talking about （talk about）that works is an important part of company. In a company if the employees to (去掉)perform to the best of their potential, company will rewarded for their achievements. So the key is the employees how to perform to the best of their potential. I think it have two sides-employees and company. The employees' quality must be good and the company should give works more opportunities, let them be a valued part of the whole. And the company should respect employees. In paragraph5, the author is talking about （talk about）an example--the company 'compaq computers'. The company has an unusually low turnover rate among its employees. If this case happened in others company, the employees will hop his job, go to seek other work which with less pressure. But the employees of the 'compaq computer company' don't do that, even the high quality people. why(Why)? Because the company's culture emphasizes individual responsibility for results and high respect for individuals. |
