In this article, the author refers to her showing off. As her thoughts, she felt others and her together sharing her triumph, and she did not think she is wrong. By contrast, others thought it is showing off, especially morbid showoffs, they are hard to like showing off in this way. Maybe your relatives and friends would like share your triumph and congratulated sincerely when you told them at first time. But if you worked your triumph into every conversation for months and months, your success would become meaningless showing off. Furthermore, if a stranger who wanted to know the time or directions, you tried to talk about your success or triumph. Maybe he thought you are abnormal, even he might call for the doctor. So we need a reasonable and skilled showing off. Fortunately, the author realized her wrong trace on time and calmed down to analysis herself. |
