I realize (the) majority of people would also do that. The fact that young people nowadays are self-satisfied, indifferent and inconsiderate of others is needed to pay attenton(attention). They often show off when they have got a little success. Anyway, I didn’t know the meaning of “work triumph into every conversation” at first. But I can image what she really means is that “she will mention her achievement frequently (frequently) when she talk with the others”. I looked the word “triumph” up. Although I didn’t think it means “success”, I have not misunderstand(misunderstood) the whole sentence. Besides, I found a new phrase “lay my cards right on the table”. In other words, speak frankly. So there are many kinds of types which can be used to express same meaning. |
