My view is that cheating is not the human nature. The reason of that is the life. Because of that everyone would be changed when we born. We knew nothing, and then, our parents, teachers, friends, bosses and all the people and all the things make us to be a dishonest person at sometimes. Why [do] they want to cheat? Because of that other people require them to be the best in doing everything. But our ability is limited, if we wander to get the purpose, we should find a better way to achieve. Almost everyone have [has] the experience of cheating in youngsters. So most of them think cheating is not a big problem with their children. And when the children grow up daily, the cheating grow up too. The cheating on games turns into cheating on tests, cheating on tests would turn into cheating in working. That’s would get into the habit of cheating. Mr. James R. Socas’ inconsistency makes us puzzled. If we don’t solve the small problem in the beginning, how could we solve it when it became bigger and bigger and the habit of cheating would be hard to change. To be the most serious, it would follow with them in all of their life. The author gives the open-book exam seems to be a good idea in forbidden peeking. And the Stanley R. Liberty says there’s no possible of two people coming up with the same approach. It must be realized that the root of cheating is not come from [is not from] parents, is not from our teachers. Because of that our quality of education is not enough. We should attach importance to cheating; it would turn into a bad habit of society. In my opinion, parents should know well with the children, do not put the heavy press on them, and always talk to them, exchange the idea about something. And for the teachers, they should change in teaching methods; try to use another way to cut down on cheating. |
