| 释义 | In paragraph six, the first three words in the first line attract me, what is the meaning of “quality of life” in the article. The author says it is more important to today’s worker. Thus, I guess the first sentence is the center of this paragraph. The text after it is the detail explanation of it when I finished the reading about this paragraph; I form an idea about “quality of life”. It means today’s workers enjoy their job, and they also like stay with their company. Because the company’s culture or environment is suit for them and they can do something they like. Another question that interested me is the phrase “to balance” in the second line. The meaning of balance is easy to understand, but in the whole sentence isn’t. It appeals to me that today’s workers should carry out requirements of their job and meet the needs of their family. Compared with paragraph six, I think paragraph seven is easier to understand. But the word “ongoing” in fourth line comprehends me. I look up the Cambridge direction “Ongoing” means continuing to exist or develop, or happening at the present moment. Therefore, today’s workers have more requirements. They need continuing job training that makes them have the capabilities to deal with their job. In other hand, they become the person who is popular in company. |
