单位简介

金盾出版社隶属于解放军总后勤部，1983年11月成立，是一家为军队后勤建设和培养军地两用人 才服务，为科教兴农服务的综合性出版社。建社以来，出版发行了一大批后勤理论、工业交通、医疗保健、种植园艺、畜牧养殖、食品烹饪、服装缝纫、 绒线编结等实用性科技图书。1994年11月，被中央宣传部新闻出版署评为“全国优秀出版社”，1996年2月被国家科学技术委员会、中国科学技术协会 评为“全国先进科普工作集体”。

金盾出版社坚持走全心全意为人民服务与市场经济体制紧密结合的道路，获得了 快 迅发展。到2001年出书近2000千余种，现在年出新书400余种，加上重印书年出书千余种，建社以来总计出书 2.7亿多册。年发行码洋已突破2亿元大关。成为具有一定规模、一 定特色、较高知名度的出版社。

1996年被国家科委和中国科协评为"全国先进科普工作集体"，1998年被中共中央宣传部和国家新闻出版总署评为"全国优秀出版社"，近年来又获中央和国家有关部门颁发的各种奖励10多项。人民日报、新华社、中央电视台、解放军报等10多家新闻媒体曾对我社进行了广泛的宣传报道，总政下发了《关于学习金盾出版社先进经验的通知》，被誉为出版社的一面旗帜。2005年被评为"全国版权保护示范单位"，2007年、2009年连续两届被中国版协、中国发协评为"讲诚信、优质服务"先进出版单位。现任社长张延扬2002年被评为"全国百佳出版工作者"，2005年获"韬奋出版奖"，2008年被中宣部评为"全国宣传文化系统四个一批人才"、"全国新闻出版行业领军人才"，2009年被新闻出版总署评为"新中国60年优秀出版人物"和"中国百名优秀出版企业家"；前任社长刘新明2009年获中国出版荣誉纪念章。

Introduction to The JinDun Publishing House

Set up in November 1983,affiliated to the General Logistics Department of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army,the Jindun Publishing House is a comprehensive press in the service of military logistic building-up ,the training of personnel useful both for military and civilian purposes and the flourishing of agriculture through science and education .In the past 19 years,it has published a vast number of practical readings of science and technology in the fields of military logistics,industry and communication,medical and health work, planting and horticulture,animal husbandry and breeding,food stuff and cookery,clothing and tailoring,woolen knitting,etc .In November 1994,JINDUN was awarded the title of “Excellent Publishing House in China ” by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee and China’s Press and Publication Administration. In February 1996,it was awarded the title of “National Advanced Collective for Science Popularization” by the State Science and Technology Commission and All－China Association of Science and Technology.

Serving the people wholeheartedly, while adapting itself to the market economy system,JINDUN has developed rapidly.Till 2001,it has published nearly 2,000 kinds of books. Today more than 400 kinds of new books and 600 kinds of reprinted books by JINDUN come into the world each year and the total price is over RMB 200 millon. Since its foundation,JINDUN has published 270 millions copies of books in the grand total. Now it has become a well-known press with a moderate scale and unique feature of its own.
