乐队简介

Death In June

1980年，David Tibet、Tony Wakeford、Patric Legas及Douglas P组成了Death In June乐队。Death In June是死亡民谣中最著名的乐队之一。它的著名，不单是因为它开创了这种诡异的音乐形式，还因为从这队乐队中孕育出日后许多著名的死亡民谣乐队。对于整个死亡民谣来说，Death In June就好比是一个雌雄同体的魔鬼，他既用父权的威严建立起死亡民谣阴暗颓废的音乐文化，又用母体的天性生出三个恶魔，继续他/她所建立起的诡异王国。1981年在《Heaven Street》的推出之前，David Tibet就离开Death In June。两年后组建他自己的乐队。这就是日后在死亡民谣和后工业界最为著名的Current 93。之后，1984年Tony Wakeford在《Burial》出版后也离开了Death In June，自组Sol Invictus。这是一队结合异教徒信仰且崇拜古罗马时代的众神与自然力量的乐队。Patric Legas在合作完成85年的《Nada》后也离开Death In June，加入了另一队创作理念源自斯堪的纳维亚半岛一带的北欧神话的乐队Sixth comm。这三队乐队连同原来的Death In June，共同开拓出死亡民谣的许多不同音乐形态。他们之后的众多死亡民谣乐队都是沿着他们的路子发展自己的音乐的。而在这四个名字当中，影响力最大的还是David Tibet的Current 93。
