沈锡辉,男,1972年11月出生,陕西省商州市丹凤县人

1994年本科毕业于西北农业大学农学系

1997年硕士研究生毕业于西北农业大学基础科学系

2005年在中科院微生物所获微生物学博士学位

2005-2008年为美国普度大学生物科学系博士后

2008-2010年被聘为中科院武汉病毒所病毒学国家重点实验室副研究员

现为西北农林科技大学生命科学学院教授,博士生导师。

研究方向

主要研究方向为微生物分子生理学和生物化学,以谷氨菌棒杆菌、嗜肺军团菌、假结核耶尔森氏菌等重要的模式微生物为模型,利用生物化学、分子生物学、遗传学和功能基因组学技术进行微生物重要代谢途径、致病因子的分子生理学研究,并在此基础上发现重要的药物作用靶标,以及设计新的代谢工程策略,通过对微生物进行系统生物技术改造,从而利用微生物技术进行污染物的降解和生物质源大宗化学品的合成,以及为病原微生物的防治提供理论指导和技术支持。在PLos Pathogens, Cellular Microbiology, Applied and Environmental Microbiology等国际著名期刊发表研究论文10余篇,是国际期刊Archives of Microbiology的审稿人。
