潘一宁，女，1984年毕业于中山大学外语系，获英语语言文学学士学位，1987年在中山大学东南亚研究所获世界史东南亚史专业硕士学位，1998年在中山大学历史系获专门史中美关系史博士学位，现任中山大学历史系副教授，一直从事世界现代史、国际关系史和东南亚史的教学与研究，曾在美国、澳大利亚和东南亚国家进行访学和课题研究。
