陈剑勇，男，福建漳州人，博士。现为深圳大学计算机与软件学院教授，硕士研究生导师。分别于1996年和1999年在厦门大学获得理学学士和硕士学位。2003年在香港城市大学电子工程系，获得博士学位。此后加入中兴通讯股份有限公司从事技术标准研究工作，担任标准研究总监。2006年3月，加入深圳大学从事教学和科研工作。先后从事人工神经网络，混沌在保密通信中的应用，以及基于移动网络（3G,WiMax等），下一代网络(NGN)的安全研究。累计发表SCI收录论文20多篇；申请发明专利30多项；牵头起草国际标准3项。受工信部和中兴通讯股份有限公司的提名和支持，陈剑勇博士担任以下社会职务：
