Biz Markie为著名的美国东岸艺术家,原名Marcel Hall,1964,4,8日出生在美国的布朗克斯区,

在80年初开始了他的音乐生涯,也有和McShan,Roxanne Shante一起工作过.88年签了Cold Chillin;.而且发行了; ,次年发行了The Biz Never Sleeps中的Just A Friend十分受到当时美国市场好评.也使得Markie成为当时最重要Rappa和Hiphop影响力最大人物之一.这也使他爱发行第三张I Need a Haircut承受很多的压力,另外,加上Sample问题的诉讼案更加恶化!到93年,Markie继续他的音乐事业,发行了All Samples.这张也可以说是商业音乐下的受害者!!!!!!!而后的几年,Biz 常和Beasitie Boyz一起工作,也开始Djing,从此过着低调的音乐人生活.(他的单曲Just A Friend被滚石评为最伟大的100首英文歌曲之一.)年轻的一批rapper,象是Obie Trice等也都受到了他的影响.
