The Britannica World Date yearbook devotes about 450 to 500pages to "The Year in Review." Here the data are arranged by subject from agriculture to world affairs. Subsections include biographies , obituaries, and special features such as the presidential election. These are followed by 250 to 300 pages of world data--a useful comparison of language, religion, health services, and the like among major nations. There are 200 or so pages given over to stsndard national information, country by country.
