陈昌能，男，1953年11月出生，研究员，课题组长。

1978年，南京大学化学系毕业。

1980年，兰州大学进修高等有机化学及高等有机化学实验等课程。

1980年至今，在中国科学院福建物质结构研究所工作。1989年，获得德国马普学会最高荣誉奖学金。

1990年，德国歌德学院进修德语，作为马普基金高级研究员。

1990-1992年，德国Duisburg大学化学系，与G．Henkel教授合作研究与生物无机相关的铁硫簇合物。

1993年，作为主要完成人员之一，获得中国科学院自然科学一等奖。

主要研究方向

生物无机中一些重要生物过程的结构与功能的研究，如氢化酶的结构与功能，放氧复合酶的结构与功能。迄今为止发表研究论文130余篇，其中包括Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.、Inorg Chem和Chem. Commun.等SCI1区国际化学领域重要学术期刊。
