简介

Silversun Pickups(SSPU)是来自洛杉矶的另类摇滚乐队，他们成立于2002年。团队成员有Brian Aubert, Nikki Monninger, Christopher Guanlao以及Joe Lester。 SSPU在2005年7月发布了EP《Pikul》。之后在2006年7月26日发布了专辑《Camavas》，第二张专辑《Swoon》于2009年4月14日发布。2012年5月8日，乐队的第三张专辑《neck of the woods》发布。乐队的成员在成立乐队之前就是一起玩音乐或者来自其他好友乐队，他们在洛杉矶的俱乐部发迹，他们经常在Silverlake Lounge和Spaceland附近演出，并且在这时萌发了制作《Pikul》的想法。乐队始于洛杉矶的Silver Lake music scene。是Rio Kiley和其他人的假象。乐队起初的名字是A Couple of Couples，音乐成员起初都是一对对伴侣。但是在一次成员变革后乐队名字改为Silversun Pickups，每当接受采访时，乐队总是喜欢称他们的乐队名字是种精神状态的体现。这种精神状态据说是洛杉矶独立摇滚乐队在深夜所需要的，贴近他们生活的。
