也许许多人不知道George Michael是谁，但这首"Careless Whisper"（无心快语/无心低语）大家一定是耳熟能详。

George Michael是Wham!（威猛） 乐队的创始人之一，在1984年的夏天，George Michael发行了他的经典之作"Careless Whisper"，这是他在Wham!（威猛）乐队发行的首张个人单曲，而这首歌也成为了80年代最具特色的歌曲之一，因而也是播放率最高的歌曲之一。写这首歌时，他年仅17岁。

1980年的一天，在英国芬契列，一个醉心于音乐，在电影院当引座员的17岁的少年，在乘坐公共汽车时，脑海里一直盘旋着一个旋律，回到家后，他急忙把它写了下来。这就是四年后，成为英美排行榜冠军歌曲的《Careless Whisper无心快语》，这名少年叫George Michael（乔治·迈克尔）。

后来与他合作的是他高中时代的好友Andrew Ridgeley（安德鲁·维治利），他们共同组建了“威猛”乐队。其高娱乐性的流行音乐风格征服了无数听众。可惜，这个组合只维持了短短的三年就告破裂。
