剧情

故事开始于美国首都正陷于混乱中，肇因于一群国际恐怖组织人员，暗杀了主持中东防卫基金的美国参议员。一个接一个的参议员，都惨遭一连串神秘的爆炸而身亡。FBI的炸弹专家丹尼威廉斯（皮尔斯·布鲁斯南饰），是著名的拆除炸弹高手，他被上级赋与这项高危险的任务，他将化险为夷成为英雄，或是使得炸弹更加速爆炸呢？
