沈弘 （ 1954- ），男，博士，教授，博士生导师。主要研究方向为中世纪与文艺复兴时期英国文学、目录学与版本研究、中外文化交流。承担并完成过“古英语研究”的国家青年项目和“中古英语文学研究”的国家项目。目前主持“弥尔顿研究”的教育部社科项目。发表过《农夫皮尔斯》、《晚清映像》、《花甲忆记》、《中国长城》等十一部译著和编著，以及数十篇学术论文。

近年来发表在国内一级或核心刊物上的论文有 《最早的汉译英诗应是弥尔顿的 <论失明>》（第一作者）、 《告诉世界一个“真实的”中国 ——对二十世纪初 W. E. 盖洛系统考察中国人文地理的评述 》（第一作者）、 《试论早期英国文学中的“剽窃”问题》、《 <农夫皮尔斯>B文本汉译本序言》、《论中古英语浪漫传奇的特征》等。
