Totalselfhatred由乐队成员A.( Guitars, Keys & Vocals )和C.(Guitars & Vocals )成立于2005年，乐队致力于创作出真正意义上忧郁而绝望的氛围。同年成员N.( Bass & Backingvocals )作为贝斯手加入乐队尔后三人于2006年一起发行了一张宣传CD，这导致了他们终止了与Ordo Decimus Peccatum这家非常不错的地下唱片公司的合作。2007年乐队成员 (drums)和J. (keys)加入乐队。
