牟溥（博士，1953年6月出生），北京师范大学生命科学学院教授、博士生导师，美国公民。

1969.8-1978.2. 黑龙江生产建设兵团二师十五团（宝泉岭农场）；1978.2-1982.1. 东北林业大学学习，获学士学位； 1982.1-1982.4. 上海外国语学院，英语培训；1982.5.-1983.4. 广州中山大学，英语培训；1983.5.-1985.6. 美国爱达荷大学林学院，获硕士学位；1985.7.-1991.6. 美国康奈尔大学自然资源系，获博士学位；1991.7.-1994.7. 美国奥本大学林学院，博士后研究员；1994.8.-2000.8. 美国维吉尼亚理工学院暨州立大学林学院，助教授；2000.8.-2007.2. 美国北卡罗来那大学格林斯堡校生物系，助/副教授。

主要研究内容

1. 陆地生态学：包括森林生态学、生态系统生态学、植物根生态学、河岸带生态学。

2. 景观生态学：重点研究植物群落时空异质性及其生态学意义。
