剧情简介

主人翁是青少年时期与父亲失和而无法完成梦想的农场主人雷，有一天他听到神秘声音说：“你盖好了，他就会来。”于是他像着了魔一样铲平了自己的玉米田建造了一座棒球场，没想到他的棒球偶像真的来到那里打球，而且还因此而使他跟父亲之间好多年心结得以开解。

·制作人在爱荷华州一个真正的农场上建造了这个棒球场。拍摄完成后，农场的这家人保留了这块地方，并在旁边加了一个小屋，只要你愿意，可以花上很少的钱住在那里。到了1990年，游客们可以在这里免费参观，要是喜欢的话还可以在里面打棒球。

穿帮镜头

·在明尼苏达州的Chisholm，雷和特伦斯阅读的新闻报纸上，很多标题上的小镇的名字都被报社错误地拼写成了"Chisolm"。

·事实错误：道克·格雷厄姆实际上是用左手打棒球的。

·事实错误：电影中提到道克·格雷厄姆生于明尼苏达州的Chisholm，但实际生活中的他出生于北部的卡罗莱纳州的Fayetteville。

·事实错误：穆莱特·格雷厄姆组建他自己的球队联合会，是在1905年而不是1922年。此外，他死于1965年，而不是1972年。

·发现错误：在准备建造棒球场地的时候，雷和凯玲·金塞拉正开着割草的拖拉机。尘土落在了草梗上，这就意味着割草机没有在旋转，那么也就是说割草机并没有运行起来。
