剧情简介

莎拉(珍妮弗·安妮斯顿)是个性格开朗且外表迷人的成熟女人，并且有着令很多人羡慕的职业，《纽约时报》的新闻记者。不过莎拉对自己目前的爱情生活却总有着异样的感觉。虽然和眼前的男友打得如胶似漆，但对爱情的“最终阶段”--婚姻，却始终有种莫名的恐怖之感。在她的内心始终还存在着对婚姻的怀疑，这样的结果是不是自己最终想要的。此时，更加糟糕的事情发生了，她那风光的职业也与她开起了不大不小的玩笑，昔日风光无限的记者竟落得去负责报纸边角处的讣告栏。就在此时，家里传来了妹妹要率先自己踏入婚姻殿堂的消息。于是，莎拉和杰夫便一同赶回参加妹妹的婚礼，这也意味着，他们将在未来的稍嫌漫长的一段日子里再次与自己那个麻烦不断的大家庭共度时光了。“老来俏”的祖母、风韵尤存母亲以及急着嫁人的妹妹将这个不大不小的家庭弄得沸沸扬扬、热闹异常。但在莎拉心中似乎总有些异样的感觉令其无法完全投入到这样幸福的生活中去。当然，在莎拉的这个“女性占优”的家庭中，已经埋藏许久的一个秘密始终都调动着很多人的胃口，尤其是遇到了莎拉这样有敬业精神的人。就在即将开幕的这个家庭大聚会里，这个秘密终究被莎拉的“打破沙锅”的精神给弄得渐渐地浮出了水面--家中的老少三代的女人竟然都和同一个男人“有染”，简直令人无法接受……
