林子敬, 男，中国科学院"百人计划", 教授, 博士生导师。

1979年10月-1983年7月: 杭州大学物理系理学学士;

1983年9月-1989年5月: 中国科技大学基础物理中心理学博士;

1989年6月-1989年10月: 中国科学院半导体研究所博士后;

1989年10月-1990年9月: 德国Clausthal 技术大学理论物理所Research Associate;

1990年10月-1992年12月 德国Juelich研究中心Visiting Scientist;

1993年1月-1994年9月: 加拿大New Brunwick大学化学系博士后;

1994年9月-1997年9月:美国太平洋西北国家实验室博士后;

1997年9月至今: 美国太平洋西北国家实验室客座资深研究员，
