| 释义 | I am not satisfaction with the score that deng (Deng) sir gives me. So I read the paragraph 6 to paragraph 10 again. Deng sir has told us that long words are important and useful to us .when I read the word ‘individualistic ’,I left off. it is a new word to me. before I look it up, I always analysis the word first ,I think it is a good habits.especially (Especially) when learn English .The word ‘individualistic ’can be divided into two parts . The front part of the word is ‘individual’, I know the meaning of ‘individual’ is one person .another part is ‘-istic ’it means ‘full of‘. so I in my a opinion the whole word means a person who shows great independeBnce. ater (After ) that I look it up with Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary ,it(It ) only tell me it is a adjective. my face show disappointment. but not give up. At last I use Merriam-Webster online .there are two meaning of it which are ‘pursues a markedly independent course in thought or action’ and ‘ advocates (advocates) or practices individualism’. So I think I guess right. |
