释义 | After reading the paragraph 8, I have interested in several phrases and sentences. At the beginning of it, the author said “employees, investors, and consumers are beginning to judge companies by how they deal with issues like ethnic diversity, harassment, hiring and firing, profit sharing, and other labor/management policies”. Why they judge these things by now? And what things they judge a company before? In the past, they may judge a company by salary, job, stability, and like these. But now, the ethnic diversity and harassment which social problems are influencing the internal decision of companies. The ethnic diversity is existed all the time and, it can not be ignored. The company should accept different culture and learn the spirit from it if it wants to become strong. In my opinion, the ethnic diversity is related to the racial discrimination. The people should be equal to treat in companies. And the harassment is more serious in our life than before especially in China. The laws about harassment are not perfect in our country. And the traditional mind of Chinese leads to them can not speak it to public in the public occasion. It is a personal secret in most people’s mind. More and more companies are celebrating difference among people. The employees from different backgrounds. The company should take different style presents in order to the employees’ tradition and interesting. |
