In the（THE去了貌似读的更通？） first paragraph the author said that they know that beauty is only skin deep. In here who is “they”? Maybe in the first paragraph “they” is（去IS） instead（insteads） of wise man. In the second paragraph the author hold（holds） the idea that many people think that looks is not important to him and appearance is not a powerful determinant of initial attraction. But this idea is not right. Why people deny it? I think the reason is that people think he could control himself and could control his feeling. He wants to express that he is a wise man. I have a question, why people like beautiful（beautiful是adj，应该是BEAUT）? |
