But parents believe it`s the responsibility of teachers. Because they sent their child (children)for learning konwledge and orthodoxy. It`s my feelings(feeling) after reading this artic. In paragraph 11 I really agree with one sentence of student to find peeking at each other`s test to be irresistible . As no one seems much bothered about cheating in (the)youngest. Even the outspoken oppoments of cheating are less critical of youngesters who cheat. And Mr.James R.Socas,chairman of the honor committee at University of virginia. He said that student are(is) on the threshold of being an adult and of taking responsibility for their actions,but young people must be allowed to make mistakes. One body haven`t make mistake. I do think it`s right. Several schools are trying to cut down on the opportunity to cheat by giving more open-book exams. Yes, I believe it`s a good way to reduce cheating in that the approach serves a dual purpose: it fosters conceptual thinking and makes crib sheets and peeking useless. And there is another way is said in paragraph 15. university has set up a faculty sub-committee to create a campus –wide dialogue on the exam. But the highlight is(that) students are invited with professors to discuss ways that exams can be used as a learning device, not an evaluation tool. I think it means teacher and student both want to get rid (of)with cheating. In paragraph 16 there is a sentence like this: But teachers and child (children)psychologists say that the only way to stop students from cheating in college is to keep them developing the habit in high school. At first, I don`t understand this sentence meanings(meaning). But after check in the contrast book I understand. And I think it`s a significant ponit that we should pay a attention to. As the accustom student to cheating may be affact their future. For the most part, academicians seem optimician that changes in teaching methods and in exams will cut down on academy dishonest.After reading this artic I do believe that we should pay more attention to honesty. It has became an essential and important part in our life, even affacting(affACT) our future life. |
